Assists patients, families or third payors in the resolution of issues and concerns regarding accounts receivable.
Resolves issues and concerns regarding accounts receivable.Performs updates to accounts receivables system with third party billing information to secure reimbursement and applicable billing data.Communicates payment policies to customer and finalizes payment arrangements with patient or guarantor as needed.Sends itemized bills to patient and insurance companies, order bills, audit charges, determines if billing or rebilling is required.Serves as intermediary between patients and outside sources related to questions or problems which patients may have regarding bills for services provided.
